Through YMCA Youth Sports, we want young athletes to strive for excellence, for real joy comes to youngsters who know they have given their best – win or lose – and know their best is appreciated by others.
When winning is kept in perspective, sports programs produce young people who enjoy sports, who strive for excellence, who dare to risk error in order to learn, and who grow with both praise and constructive criticism. When winning is kept in perspective, the pursuit of victory is fun.

Our relatively flat course winds through Scott, Washington, and Jackson counties, through the breath-taking forests and farmland that make our region beautiful. Through the generous donations of our sponsors we’re also able to provide two free meals: a continental breakfast, and a sandwich lunch, as well as refreshment stops along the course.
